Barcelona schedules Deco's official presentation as the new sporting director.

 Last month, Barcelona officially named Deco, the former midfielder, as their new sporting director. Although he took on the role at the start of the summer transfer window, the club made the official announcement later. Mateu Alemany left the club after the transfer window ended.

Now, Deco's formal introduction to the media is scheduled for next week. He had taken a break after the transfer window and will return for his official presentation on Wednesday.

Deco has overseen a successful transfer window, bringing in players like Joao Cancelo, Joao Felix, Ilkay Gundogan, and Vitor Roque, among others.

Following Deco's presentation, a press conference will unveil the new structure and hierarchy of the club's sporting department after Alemany and Jordi Cruyff's departures.

Bojan Krkic, another former Barcelona player, will be part of the new setup, likely playing a crucial role in helping young players transition from the youth and reserve teams to the senior squad.
